I have not watched one event. I just have lost my interest in the Olympics-it's a bit sad actually.

you're not the only one in that boat.

now, it's 10 minutes of competition (being drearily commented upon) followed by 7 1/2 minutes of insufferable commercials.

neither you or i have missed much....

I still watch the Winter Olympics for the skiing, but other than that-the Olympics is like watching any other pro-sport. The Human element seems to be missing in it to me! good things to you-S

At the moment the olympics seems to be a lot of drama, so really not much has gone done...Im from Australia and I support my country yet i find it so hard to watch an event with an Aussie in it at the moment who hasnt had anything positive to say regarding winning a silver, bronze or not even winning a medal. A lot of the athletes are really negative and down about what they have managed to achieve a lot of em should wake up and see where they are. They are in the olympics a place so many would ove to be in for they sport yet so many achieve. Im glad its almost over :) time for the paraolympics

you know-you said it, nothing really "positive". I think the world of "amateur sports" is officially over. It's all about science and the Human mechanism. "Humanity" has left the building! Be good-S
