This morning I drove Pierce to school.  I waited almost two hours to see the Principal.  I asked her how could he sign up for reduced fair cards for the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority...BUS PASS).  The first question that came out of her mouth was "Does he really need them perhaps he can walk to school!!!"? " Yes, he probably can...should I get him up at 5:30 Am then"?  "Well school starts at 8:15 AM...why so early"?  "Probably because we live on the other side of the city!!!!" Then she went into a tirate about budget costs, and how her cactus plant was dying!!!!  I said: "Excuse me....can you help, or not"?  Then she went on about the homeless students needed them first?  I'm trying my best to be patient....but this lady is nuts!!!!  I asked her what had happened to the other principal....she said:"I replaced her because they need someone with a stronger attitude that could go by the book!!!"  By now I'm just ready to scream!!!! One simple question that's all I needed answered.  I had enough: "So I asked her did she have her school uniform available". "Why would I need that she replied"?......"Because Hitler would roll over in his grave if found out that one of his BROWN SHIRTS had failed the dress code!!!"...then I said:" your cactus is dying because of bordom....you talked it too death!!!".  Needless to say I was escorted out the door...by a female security guard who laughed all the way down the hallway as she led me out!!! She had heard the entire conversation!!! Now all of you know why the Chicago Public School System Is so F...ed up!!!!!

Your peers voted for a Democratic run and operated city. You all brought Obama onto the national page, you all have the most corrupt operation in the nation...yet you cry about it?

Look, it is said...if you vote for a person that promises to take money from the rich and give it to the poor...you forego your right to whine at their definition of "poor".

She's Union, untouchable, and probably a worthless hunk of ****. I'm sorry for your kid, your schedule, and your situation...

Remember this, Democrats are great at planting trees. But they couldn't care a less about raking the leaves.

The truth is that we are in such a difficult situation because Republicians & the Bushes put us in it in the first place. Obama is trying to do good with what he got...he didn't screw up the ecconomy...it already was screwed up he just inherited the Bushes mess. When the first Bush went into office our books were in the Black....thanks to Clinton. Obama got stuck with a 10 trillion dollar mess....another 6 was added to it in an attempt to recover. Obama saved the american auto industry....but you don't remember that!!!! Ain't no one cryin Dude....I just wrote an article. And Republicians can't shovel snow either!!!!

I am glad you found the support you needed. It's great to find a public servant that understands and upholds the trust. A cactus growing in Chicago must cost a fortune to keep alive, esp. while in a public office building... Green is good though. I respect your call on the ebb and flow of party influences on our lives. For 15 years I was the only person besides another republican across the street that actually raked leaves... All the other community minded liberal/democrats actually watched...for 15 years me and this "neighbor" raking leaves. It might just be that I live in a City of village idiots that associate themselves to the hard work of selfless Democrats from across the nation. Here in Washington, DC, even worse...Capitol Hill...

this is crap..teacher unions or school districts get a butt load of money, but only a small portion actually goes to students or the actual school.

I refused to take no for an answer...so when I went home I began making phone calls...starting with the Board of Education President. They tried giving me the old spin move....so I called the Mayor's office. After talking to a dozen different people at different city levels I finally reached a lady that helped. We got the bus passes issued for the school year now. The lady that helped me was a teacher, and a high school principal...and now is a district supervisor!!!! All that principal had to do was call her.....but she was hardballing it!!!! Everyone thanks for the support!!!
