I am in a closet surrounded by walls on on sides so no one can startle me..with soft blankets to snuggle in the lap of an overstuffed teddy or doggie so that only love can touch me...

I would spend so many nights like this knowing that they would protect me in my dreams...

I still want that security and space even though now I am bigger and getting into a closet is something of a major problem.

    I was thinking of redded out the one closet in bedroom and making a sancutary of sorts but don't know if that would bring out the little ones more...think it would so maybe not a good idea.

    If it's what u need and helps then maybe journal about it and if one of your alters doesn't like it they can say so. It is good to have a safe place in your home you can go to and get calm again when stressed or triggered.

    It is hard when the little ones show up and it is like Oh no not again in the system... some of em just have the emotions left over from dream memories and half the time we don't know what triggered em to show up... so we can't even protect em from it...so it happens over and over again. That is what makes it so hard.
