but I'm still weak. I'm still insecure about my lack of friends and social ability. I still crave receiving validation from my peers. I really thought I had gotten over this completely, but I could tell today that I hadn't. Those feelings still lingered under the surface and affected my thoughts and attitude. I'm weak...and it's so disappointing because I thought I was strong.

you are strong and brave because you recognise your own flaws. now you can work on improving them.

Yeah, that's the first step. I felt I needed to admit it so that my mind wouldn't be able to externalize the problem and make me think I was a victim of the world. The only one victimizing me is myself.

Well I can relate and I understand exactly what you are going through. Really, just a few minutes a go I was thinking that about myself but you know what struck my mind......that is only demons trying to manipulate the minds of the youth and control you. but its up to you on who is going to win that victory.
