I felt bad after researching Jeffrey Dahmer. Not just for everyone who was hurt due to his actions, but the fact that he never achieved happiness. Everyone in the entire situation suffered an endless darkening of pain. I don't understand why it had to happen in the first place. Why people had to suffer for no reason.

Maybe because he was a sado/masochist and achieved what he desired by assaulting and having his way with those fellas in every way. What is ever the reason for torturing and killing someone? And then doing ****** up **** with their corpses?

But he wasn't like other serial killers of similar taste. He took full responsibility for his actions (don't mistake that for guilt, he was psychopathic and therefore incapable of feeling such a thing), was completely honest to police and actually helped police hunt down The Green River Killer, and he had not suffered trauma (at least not anything known) within his childhood. He said his parents were perfectly fine absolutely normal people as well. The underlying theme of ever serial killer is a deep seated hatred, a fear, and a desire for control. What I have trouble understanding, and why it makes me sad is that he was never thrust with such hatred as most other serial killers were. I guess he was just... Born with it. Born with hate. Doesn't that make you sad?

Yeah, I suppose I understand. Like he completely overwrites the "nature versus nurture" theory.

It's like saying that from birth he was incapable of happiness... Or love... Or anything. It's just so sad...
