Neither am I. Hence why this guy won't be attending again this year. Why are you apprehensive about it hadyourchance?

Don't dig the whole "party" thing. Plus, gotta find a dress to wear.

I see. If anything at all could make going to the party more bearable for you, what would it be?

I feel for you on this one been a manager for many years and have always dreaded the Christmas party. It’s not like you can let your hair down and have a good time you are expected to be all proper even at a party. Tasteful discretion in your selection of attire for the Christmas party is a must errors in clothing selection for the office party affect coworkers’ opinion of your judgment, credibility and competence. No matter how festive, the office party is a business occasion; professional, not sexy or suggestive, attire should rule the night. Leaving early is tough you must mingle with as many people as possible then slip out they won’t miss you all they remember is they did talk to you. I have also used a fake cell phone call my phone has a option were you set a time your cell phone calls you make sure your in front of you boss when it calls you and pretend it some kind of emergency you have to leave.

Or just grin and bare it thank God it’s once a year.
