So I paid all my bills for December, including rent.  I'm left with $170 for the rest of the month.  I'll have to make my money stretch.

    It comes out to $7.39 per day. I can manage.

    Which is why I don't live in DC, rent is TOO expensive for what you get.

    I have rent-controlled apartment plus I have a housing subsidy.
