The five stages of grief

You're often told that there are five stages of grief and that everyone experiences them. They tell you not to worry and that things will get better. They tell you that if you make a decision in your life to deal with the sadness then it will get better. Friends tell you that time heals all wounds and family tells you that they're there for you no matter what. You're told that you're not alone in the world.... but what they don't tell you is how you lonely it would feel no matter what. They never mentioned how much it hurts to think about something and how you can't breathe sometimes because it hurts. They don't tell you the hole that is punched through you will never be filled..... not even by time and they certainly never tell you that you may never get over it, but that you'll have to work through your sadness and learn to coexist with it.

So true... Sometimes we just have to carry that void with us to the grave :/
