so I am babysitting right now, and everyone is asleep. I decide to grab the phone and try a few numbers I had in mind. I remember a number my mom gave me, and tonight after one year, I guessed it right. This was how the conversation went down, and keep in mind I woke him up... (convo was actually in farsi. i wil translate)

*ring ring*
*ring ring*
*ring*...(someone picks up)
him: hello?
me: hello <<in shock, and sounding so happy
him: huh? hello?
me: (crying) dad it's me
him: ok.
me: I was trying a few numbers, and this one worked|!!
him uhuh
me:yeah (still crying and happy)
him:ok
me: (sad, I knew he didnt care) ok, bye
*he hangs up*


BELIEVE ME RIGHT NOW HE FEELS LIKE A TOUGH GUY, HE DID THE RIGHT THING AND ALL...BUT EVEN I KNOW THAT IF I GIVE IT TIME, HE WILL FEEEL LIKE ****!! AND LIKE A PIECE OF CRAP. moving on with my ******* life finallllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

    wow, sorry that happened to you. some people can stay in our hearts but not our lives:') sad but true. i think you should consider that your father may be lacking empathy and perhaps he will never regret it. but that's ok. you don't need to allow that to keep you down.
