There's a difference between goodbye and letting go.

Goodbye is..."I'll see you later when I'm ready to hold your hand & you're ready to hold mine."

Letting go is..."I'll miss your hand. I realize it's not mine to hold. And I'll never hold it again."

    And some people never figure out to to let go. It is sad. Nothing cute or enviable about loss.

    True and hard to do but peace comes with acceptance. Sometimes it helps to not take it personally but to realize it was just not meant to be. It was only one of life's difficult lessons which we all go through and learn from. Good luck to you.
