At the age of five, I suffered through Bellspalsy, which means half of my face was paralyzed in a drooped manner.  Luckily, I outgrew most of it, meaning that unless someone stares at me and watches every single facial movement I make, they shouldn't be able to notice any difference.  It still bothers me every day and I constantly feel like my face looks weird or is droopy.  I never show teeth in any smile for pictures because my mouth doesn't make a smile correctly when open and I wear my hair so that it tends to fall over the affected side of my face.  It's a constant struggle.

Oh my goodness!! i read this and I totally relate! when I was 10 years old the same thing happened and I never thought that people understood the pain that I carry due to my face. It is my identity and i always feel like a monster face. even though people tell me they can't tell I see it in every picture and in every mirror.

This is actually my post and I understand completely. It's so bad sometimes I even feel like I can feel my face acting weird so I do this thing where I try to hold my eyes open and I'm sure that's when I really look weird lol
