I asked my grandmother (85 years old) why she didn't play bingo. She looked up at me, looked me right in the eye and said, "Bingo is for old people." At that point, life meant a bit more to me.

My mother died at the age of 95 1/2. She still feared the day she started being 'old.' :-)
