This is about the disgust...

This is about the disgusting habits of my husband...or do the majority of men do this? First gross habit: He picks his nose, pulls out a winner, rolls it up and flicks it onto the floor, sometimes it lands on the couch...gross. Why not just get up and get a Kleenex??? Second gross habit: When he cooks (for the entire family) he likes to taste test...sounds okay, right? Well, it's not okay when he sticks the spoon down his throat like children do when they are licking cake batter from a spoon. Then he doesn't wash it off, he sticks the spoon right back into the food that we're all supposed to eat...gross. Can't he at least rinse the spoon off? Confessions of a Weekend Father. It's 7am on a Sunday morning. I'm awake. My three kids are asleep. I look around and survey the weekend damage. My home is littered with this weekends gauntlet of fast food wrappers, new toys, old toys, paper plains, last nights board games, and other stuff I don't recognize at the moment. It will take all next week to make this house pass EPA inspections. I sit around and soak it all in. And feel so damn lucky and loved. After I got out of high school I got a gorilla costume from a friend of mine. I always had trouble sleeping at night and found myself awake during the time the school bus ran in the mornings. The days my dad worked day shift I would put it on and go outside and crouch behind a car and wait for the bus to drive by and I would run behind the house a distance of maybe six feet. I would try to time it so that by some chance one of the kids was looking out the side they would get a short glimpse of a ape. Living in the boonies they would no doubt think it was bigfoot. Ok I download movies off ...

Ok I download movies off the internet (but only movies I CANT find in the store because I like owning the DVDs, makes me feel happy that my DVD rack is full)... but that is not my confession...
