|  I had a very strange dream this night. It was about an old friend that I had in highschool. (a girl)
She is a Jehova Witness, not a very strickt one and I did not even notice the first year, but she told me at some point.
Now, about 7 years later we do not see each other anymore. For no reason, just changes in life. But in my dream I saw her.
In my dream (very strange) I cuddled with her in bed, pretty much almost making love (kissing and such) In reality this was really not the kind of friendship I had with her. We both fall for men.
In the dream we where also children, about 10 years old or so. So that is even more strange.
Her father came in and saw it. He dragged her out of the bed, shouted and screamed. It was completely wrong and scary. His rage grew worse with every word he screamed at her. She cried in fear and she cried to him for understanding. Then he started beating her, all the while screaming. In the dream I was 10 years old and completely afraid to do something, seeing him as the 'dad' of my friend, and feeling it as something to listen to. As children do, they do not feel that they can or should say to an adult that he/she is wrong. I was also terrified, I was afraid to move and afraid he would come to me as well. But he did not. When there was a more silent moment in which he shouted (not screamed) at her about what she had done. He pointed at me and yelled that I should also be ashamed, that I had invested my body with this. He yelled that I could wash the outside but never the filth inside.
This sounded like a terrible thing to say to my 10 year old mind.
My friend washed her mouth right away, sitting small and tiny on the bed, believing him. His rage grew again and he kicked her.
Her mother came in and I could see right away that she had a good and friendly heart. But I could also see that she had no direct power over him. She used carefull words to make him more restful, without making him rage at her as well. She pretended she agreed with him, making him feel understood. And at the same time gave him the feeling that he had to stop. It worked, she was very balanced and she was shining in inner power. He walked out feeling as if he had done right and as if his wife agreed. But that it was now stupid to spend more energy on his daughter and the filth (me)
Her mother came to me and took some fear away, also from her daugher, by being friendly. Then we left the house. She (friend) went to a Jehova witness gathering and I was taken by the mother, to another place. I worried for my friend..
The other place was a place filled with adults that looked friendly and had the same peacefull/strengt feeling over them as my friends mother. It seemed to be a gathering of people that protect and help each other. They where there to protect me as well.
The mother explained the situation softly to a man there and then left, the man would protect me, I felt safe there.
And there the dream ended. |
