A Shark In The Pool | Being Chased Dream Interpretations
Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
I have this dream a lot: I am at the pool (At the school pool, a public pool, swimming lessons, ect.) And someone had the idea to put different types of underwater life in the pool. There is always at least one (or more) great white sharks in the pool. I know that those kinds of sharks are dangerous and that they eat people, but I always eiether go in, or people I know go in. When the people I know go in, I am trying to tell them it's dangerous but they won't listen. If I go in, I keep telling myself not to, but I go in anyways. The people in my dream (or myself) end up getting chased by the shark. In my dream last night, all the people in my dream were in the pool at my high school and they thought the sharks were sleeping because they were not moving. I was on the side of the pool telling them that they weren't sleeping because sharks breath when they move, so they don't stay still when they sleep. No one would believe me, so they started to play a game with bean bags. Then, all of a sudden, the sharks spin around and charge at all of the kids in incredible speeds, they all hurry try to get out of the pool. I see a girl (she used to be my neighbor, although we never really knew eachother) named JC trying to get out of the pool. She slipped and started to slide back in, while she was struggling to get out, a shark came and bit her around her torso. That's when I woke up.
The shark is a symbol for a very powerful fear you have that makes you feel helpless, like there is nothing you can do but wait to be overtaken by it.
Like this thing is going to happen, you can't do anything about it, and all you can do is wait for it knowing it's coming.
