I am an aircraft mechanic and I have had this dream at least 5 times in my life. It starts out that I am at work in the hangar working on an airplane when I hear this deafening noise of an airplane with engines screaming and its getting louder and closer. I look up from what I'm doing and see all my co-workers running frantically. There is a Southwest 737 that is skidding off the runway and sliding on it's belly (gear still up..no control) across our ramp and into the hangar. I start to run from it and turn my head and look behind me to see right into the front of the engine that is still running at full power chasing me down and ready to suck me up. I'm watching as all my other co-workers are getting mowed over and killed by this airplane. I can't seem to run fast enough, but then I wake up. It is a strange dream because over the years I had never worked at an airport that Southwest Airlines flies into and had never worked in a hangar that faces the runway. I had forgotten all about the dreams as I havn't had that one in years, untill the other night. The only difference this time is that I have moved to Texas and now work at Love Field (the home of Southwest Airlines). Even more strange is that 3 months ago my crew moved to a new hangar...right off the side of the runway, just like in my dream. Our ramp (where we park our planes outside of the hangar) looks very similar to the one in my dream. The only difference is the type of planes that are parked inside the hangar. In the hangar I work in now, we work on g200's, but when I first had this dream, Gulfstream had not built the G200 yet, and no details of the dream have changed over the years since I first had it. I wake up sweating and heart racing, and it takes a little bit for me to calm down and figure out that it was just a dream. What does this mean?
Maybe it was just a dream. There's always that possibility that it could be a premonition type dream, its so detailed, and not crazy....And its repetitive. Nothing is ever written in stone. It could be serving as a warning so if ever you start to notice something like this dream happening you'll know what to do. I am sure you are more aware.
