|  I was shopping in a small grocery store, the kind that carries everything and I was a man. I lived in a large house with a loft and my sister was staying with me. I had had an uneasy feeling for days, as though something was going to happen to her only I wasn't sure what. I decided to leave the store and go home to bring her shopping with me. I brought her back and we started arguing over pans, she wanted to buy a pink one and I was content with the ordinary copper pan. Then there was a huge explosion, like the world compressed for a moment. Everything had changed and there were bodies in the floor. The roof was gone, though all the store's goods were intact. I found my sister but she was covered in blood and had a hoge gash in her leg. I knew we had to run, so I grabbed her and some towels and we left. We found a building, an old gas station housing survivors and decided to stay there. My perspective shifted from my POV and I became a ghost or shadow who followed her to the bathroom as she tried to clean her wounds. She tried to clean her wounds and took the glass from her leg and started laughing maniacally as every wound on her body healed, she found a piece of shrapnel and was laughing hysterically as she cut herself and watched the new wound close up. In the meantime, I had somehow got an uneasy feeling and decided to leave and go home. When I got home, I knew a dangerous man would be visiting me and he did, along with his dog. He proceeded to feed his dog out of a large aluminum bowl as I told him not to as it would attract attention so close to the glass door on the patio. He didn't listen to me and the door was smashed in by who knows what. I fled and the dog followed me, we ended up a block over, right behind my painted brown wooden fence. Suddenly, a woman who I knew in my dream was my realtor was there with her daughter and I was terrified. I suddenly started yelling at her for being so irresponsible, didn't she know there were cannibals outside? She seemed more curious than afraid and began to look for them, peeking over the fence and joking around. I was frightened, but joined in. Suddenly I looked down at the bottom of the fence and saw eyes staring back at me. I screamed at her. You idiot, they've been at our feet the whole time! and ran off. Her child was holding on to my hand for dear life and slowing me down. We were running through rows of bicycles that had been laid out irregularly so I kept bumping into them and being slowed down bu holding the hand of a very small child. I let go of the child's hand and urged her to run since I knew we would be safe once we got back to the store. She was going really slowly, so I then decided to carry her, which only slowed me down further. I woke up then. |
