I went there, got a hotel room on the beach . But I really wanted to be further along the shore, closer to where I was determined to be. There were people everywhere, and they were often loud (loud music, loud talk, pushy). I kept trying to get around them, not to engage them. I would go out to the quietest places in the water I could find (I was wearing my beach shoes, bathing suit, and carrying a waterproof bag to carry things in). In fact, I was very well prepared for the task at hand.
I would reach in the the water near the rocks and find treasures and put them in my bag; while doing that, I didn't bother to assess the value of the treasures I found, deciding I would do that later.
At one point, I entered a large resort, where there was an oyster farm, magnificent gift store and even more people. I managed to get to a hotel room (I was tresspassing) and was in a high floor (beautiful room). I wanted to jump (dive) from the window into the amazing water below, and it was possible to do that based on the way that particular hotel was situationed (when a hotel detective came into the room and said he had checked my ID). I knew he hadn't, because I didn't have any ID in any event, so I knew he was lying, making things up to scare me out of there even though he couldn't prove I didn't belong there. I mostly ignored him... while recognizing that he was lying to me, and wondering if he knew I knew he was lying.
Then I dove from the window into the deepness of the ocean, and in doing so I jumped way over the noisy people gathered in the beachside cafes below. I ended up in the dolphin area of the ocean, and one was swimming in to shore while I was swimming out to sea and we looked at each other as we passed underwater. I had no problems breathing! I saw some sharks there too, but the dolphins and I just ignored them. We weren't afraid.
I got to an area where there were body surfers and surfboard surfers, but I didn't want to interact witih them but rather I wanted to get past them -- they were always a distraction, those noisy people so involved in there tourist activities; I had an idea of how far out I wanted to go and it was much farther out than all the tourists by far. They didn't seem to even know what treasure lay out there beyondthem.
As I was having this "adventure", I had a camera with video capacity on it and it was oviously waterproof; on a number of occasions I would stop what I was doing to take pictures and videos to show other people later on of my experiences if they were interested. Then I would put it back in the bag with the treasures and move on. The colors were so rich and vivid; the tidal pools so full of life and natural movement. It filled my soul!
I felt so rich, gathering my treasures from the ocean; I was fully present! I couldn't understand the need of the people to be so loud and gregarious. They didn't interfere with my goals, but I knew that they didn't know what I was doing or how important it was to me.
When I woke up and dwelled on the dream, I thought it was significant that my eyesight had been perfect at all times during the dream although this body in real life has 20/400 vision in one eye and 20/200 vision in the other! During the dream when I recognized my perfect vision, it was simply accepted, like - wow! How cool, I can really see! Then back to work gathering my treasures.
I was very determined and goal oriented, but didn't forget to enjoy the beauty and document it, too. I avoided the people who were just in the way because their focus was small and local. It wasn't like they were less than I was in any way, just that they weren't relevant and they were somewhat of a distraction with their own lack of knowing. I knew if I tried to explain to them the riches of the ocean, they would not understand anyway, and that was okay.
