Childhood Home : This Dream Occured For Over 25 Years. (Childhood Home Dream)

This dream started I think, 25 yrs ago when I was 10 years old. It was always the same exact dream detail by detail. untill the last one, it was different. The house was the last place that I lived with my parents and my older brother. I was 5 years old when we left there. My parents divorced and my brother went to live with my dad. I moved with my mom. The amazing thing is the details I explained to my mom were exact. I drew a pitcure of this house details of each room, furniture and events, including the very first day we moved in. I was even able to tell my mom where she hid the sugar cubes. The years went on and dreams continued. Tney were always the same, just dreaming about the house. One night I started the dream as always but this time, I never made it inside. I stood in the yard hiding behind a tree, and I was bleeding from a gunshot wound. I didnt dream of being shot, I was just shot. Thats all that happened in the last dream. I got to wondering if what I am about to say has any significance. I had went to visit my dad that I had not seen in years. I really enjoyed seeing him Then that is when the dreams stopped. Since then Ive went to that house. no one lived there. I couldnt get inside but I peeked through the windows and memories came back. I haven't been there or had dreams since then. What do you think?

You where wounded by the experience at the house and visiting your father healed that wound. Your repeated dreams where about some part of you was still caught up in that moment and was not resolved until you reconnected with your father. I think the chainsaw dream is not related to this dream, it's another issue to be resolved.
