Hoodoo And Voodoo (Cult Dream)
It started out simple enough, I was at home making a sleeping poltis for my niece who had been having night terrors of a dreadful kind. I heard a knock at the door and left the poltis to answer it. I opened the white door to see an African American man, about 6 feet tall with silver in his hair. He wore an old tattered gray, pinstriped suit with no shoes and three gold rings. He asked if I had any water to spare and I quickly ran to the tap and filled up a large glass.
When I returned his suit was nice, he wore shining black shoes and had a dark wood cane with a gold ball on the top. He took the water and poored it over me before grabbing a gray dust from his pocket and blowing it into my face. A moment later he was holding a wax doll of me and told me that all that I was, was ending.
I quickly called the elements and asked Apollo to strike down the man with his golden arrows and asked Hades to hold his soul in Taturas.
Apollo apeared and shot the man down before embracing me tightly, keeping me safe from the man's reach. Hades came next and cast the man in chains to drag him to hell. When Hades and the man were gone I kissed Apollo and thanked him before giving him a silver chain with a saphire on it to give to Hades in thanks.
The dream changes and I'm now teaching my niece to make a proper lavender oil to onoint her dream candle with. She's listening carefully, whispering my instruction to herself as she completes them. This time, a bell chimes from outside and I tell her to stay in the kitchen. I ask Hera, the Goddess of Mothers, to gaurd my niece like the mother she is and go to answer the door.
I open the white door and there stands a young African American woman with silver and red in her long curly hair. She looks at me with a green and a brown eye and asks if I have seen her brother. Instantly a chill runs up my spine and she screams at me, "HOW DARE A CHILD LIKE YOU BRING HIM DOWN!" I turn to run to the kitchen to keep my niece safe, but the woman is inside and staring at me.
"What you have taken from me I shall take from you! I loved my brother best!" I know she is talking about a beloved relative and when she runs to the kitchen I try to follow, but Apollo is there again, holding me back.
I hear a scream of terror and then a cry of pain. Apollo wipes a tear and points down the hall. I see Hera holding the woman by her neck. The woman is screaming and whinning, begging to be put down, but Hera, vengful as she is, will not let go. I wake as the woman in thrown from my home.
