Being Shot In The Back By A Devil | Death Dream Interpretations

Cant remember the whole thing, but I will try to give the bits I do..
fair or circus feeling, one man neither old nor young, with a demon like soul inside, has my attention, I have his, bonded in trust spirit something strange. Whispers evil things and I smile to listen...
sitting on a wall or something of the sort, he says his name is the riddler but he looks more like a joker, in costume with a smile, has an arm around me, a gun to my back, we look down at a man pleading for my release trying to convince me to come down, but I can not, I have a hammer in my hand, I dont know why its there, I have no desire to use it, I am looking at the scene from the outside now not from the wall where I sit.
I fall forward as I am shot twice in the back, I land on the ground that appears to be covered with snow, I am dressed in a cream coat or maybe a light grey, and a skirt, I look up with pleading eyes and my hands are on my stomach, I see no blood till it seeps through to coat my hands, I am within myself looking at my hands and the blood starts to run down, theres some on my legs and it pools around me, I am looking down at the scene, the riddler is sad but he can not help his nature, he smiles evil but not with his eyes, and I wake.
at the part of the dream when I learn his name my mind know he is not "the" riddler so I fight the knowledge and see the riddler from batman dancing around in the back ground, till I accept that yes there is a difference and I move on with the dream.
I think I was shot because he did not trust me, I'm not sure.
I remember being told that being shot in a dream could mean you feel victimized and you may have taken something someones said personally even if the comment or behavior was not meant to offend you, or you may think you have done something wrong and feel ashamed and the dream reflects that you think you need self punishment. Blood in a dream could signify you are being to hard on your self and you are exhausting yourself because of it. Snow is a symbol of unexpressed emotions or purity but I think it means you are feeling inhibited in your ability and that you feel neglected and cold. A hammer is a symbol of strong force and masculinity it can also be a symbol of growth and construction. It can also mean you are dealing with inner struggles and old deamons that have come back in your life. Now Im not sure what the whole riddler thing was about. It not very clear to me, but maybe the riddler is a trickster symbol. The trickster is a clown or buffon that mocks itself. It often interrupts our dreams and exposes schemes and spoils dream pleasure. It can also lead you astray because it tries to break the monotony in your life. You probably felt like he didnt trust you in the dream because the riddler guy is probably an aspect of your self. It is the cruel cynical side of you and you are not familiar with it yet which is why it acted the way it did towards you.
