(Death Dream) I had this nightmare a few weeks ago that me and my immediate family (my 4 brothers and mother) went on vacation to some Mountain Resort. We were all staying in separate cabins and had to walk on these trails through a small forest to get to each one. And for some reason we took this vacation on halloween. So all these trails were decorated with pumpkins and such, and I kept running into random strangers with masks that gave me candy. But as I was walking to one of the cabins, I seen laying in the snow, a body with blood and guts where the legs should've been. It had a halloween mask on too, so at first I assumed it was another decoration. But when I got closer, I realised it was an actual person so I lifted the mask off and it was my brother cameron. It looked like his bottom jaw had been ripped completely off. Terrified, I ran to my mother's cabin and told her what I had just seen. She asked me if I had seen Curtis, and I hadn't, so we considered that he was dead somewhere as well. But after we had talked to the police and they left to search for more bodies, Curtis walked in. My mom asked him if he had heard what happened to our brother. He said "Yes" and very calmly pulled something out from his hoodie. It was Cameron's bottom jaw and with his hands he started to make it talk like a puppet. That's when I woke up. I've been trying to make sense of this dream since I had it. The best explanation I can come up with is that I'm feeling distressed about the distance between my family. Cameron and Curtis were fighting a lot recently and they haven't spoken to each other since Cameron left home and moved to Alberta. But what I don't understand the most is the significance of Halloween, and Cameron's jaw being used as a puppet.
