Gave Birth To A Son Who Later Died | Death Dream Interpretations
Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
Ok, so I believe this dream has been recurring for the past few days, it's been more of a story than repetitive. Everything started when I gave birth to baby boy (*not pregnant, no possible way for me to be pregnant at this moment). I remember feeling like I initially wanted a girl but was happy with a boy as well. I also remember being his mother in an old home I lived in many years ago (maybe 10 or so). My current boyfriend was the father and was helping me care for him but I was primarily in charge.~ The second dream occurred and for some reason I was leaving my baby with old friends and family that I trusted to take care of him while I had to be away. No real idea why I was leaving but I had to go and they were to take care of him. I left and was gone for what felt like a week.~ The dream I just had tonight. I finally came back from wherever I was, and started searching for my baby. I remember walking in rain, becoming disoriented in the neighborhood, feeling like I was going to be swept away in the flood and mud. I had apparently passed the house and some guy leaned out the doorway and called to me. I believe it may have been a guy I had a small fling with a few years back. After I got to the house, no one would really look me in the eyes and I kept asking about my son. After some time, and a few distractions, I ran into an old classmate that I graduated with. Her mother was one of the women that wouldn't look me in the eye (*strange she even appeared in my dream I haven't seen her for at least 13-15 years). The girl talked with me and I continued to ask her about the whereabouts of my son. Finally, she gave me three names, the guy from the old fling, one of my aunts I haven't seen in years, and my step father (whom I have not had a great relationship with for a long time). She then proceeded to tell me that for some god awful reason they had left my son outside in the cold for a long period of time. I immediately began crying hysterically, realizing that my newborn son was dead, and woke up gasping for air.
A birth in a dream represents giving birth to a new aspect of personality.
Some past hurts interfered with the survival of this new aspect of personality.

This part of the dream provides you with clues to follow. The aunt could actually be the aunt, or a symbol for the side of the family she represents, or a part of yourself.
"left out in the cold" = denied the warmth of love.
This is a very detailed dream which shows that you could really benefit from learning to work with your dreams.
