|  The first paragraph is a general outline of how my dreams play out. I feel it would be a more universally understandable alternative to explaining each of my dreams in depth. But just in case you get confused, I gave one example.
.For the past week or so, I've been having different dreams in which I'm on some sort of an adventure and they always lead to me being at odds with another figure or group of figures in which I'm essentially held in a life or death standoff with the other party having a significant advantage. The thing is, I'm never afraid and I always seem to make the first move. Unfortunately, I always wake up before I can play out the scenario, but feel as though I would have lost/died if I hadn't woken up.
This is the dream i had last night so you might understand what I'm trying to say a little more clearly: I was in some sort of a rainforest with what seemed to be a native to the region and was trying to save an endangered animal which was being poached to extinction. When I came to the top of a hill, I could see a band of poachers at the bottom, some of who seemed familiar. They looked like people who I thought were helping me save the endangered animal. The native did something that gave away our position and the entire mob rushed to the top of the hill, surrounding me with hunting knives at the ready. I soon noticed the poachers I recognized were who I thought they were and was either given a knife by one of them or pulled out a knife that I had on me(I don't know which). I looked straight ahead and had some very brief exchange of words with the leader of the group that I can't recall before everything became very silent. It was at this moment that I realized I had no fear of dying and figured if I were to kill him before he ordered them, they would have no reason to kill me. I gave myself about a 50/50 chance that I would be okay after it was all over and leaped at the guy with intent to kill. He didn't do anything but smirk as I drew near(I was only about 4 feet from him. There was an 8 ft diameter circle of poachers around me). Right as I was about to reach him, I woke up and had this sensation that my throat was slit(No physical markings and there was nothing near me). Help me? |
