|  I will never be able to forget this dream . It haunts me to this day. I continue to wonder its meaning. Can dreams really cross over. I remember it in great detail and will try to paint as good of a picture as I can.
I am in a parking garage with my parents, my father is handing me paper bags from the trunk. fear overwelms me something is standing behind me, so I turn around and freeze there is a man standing there with very tan skin and black holes for eyes. I cross the parking garage and walk up a stairway with wooden uprise bridge turn left around a concrete wall and up more stairs to my door. I walk in my mother is playing cards with what seems to be her older self. I ask where my father is, she says getting the rest of the groceries.Ithink....I didnt see him go back down. So I exit the same way I came in but when I turn right around the concrete wall there is a very pale man standing there on the pathway again black holes for eyes stare at me. He turns and looks at me saying do you remember this. A necklace of some sort fall from his left hand grasped by his thumb. Do I remember what I reply. Suddenly I look over at the rest of the stairway leading down to the parking garage and my father is looking around the corner waving with only the stub of a pinky he had lost when he ran his construction business. What relevence that has I do not know. I turn and look back at the black eyes he is no longer holding the necklace but pointing not saying a word. see the ceiling I state, see the cars, see the floor, what is it you want me to see. He rushes toward me and with his index and middle fingers quikly shuts my eyelids and says............death. I am stuck now and I know it sounds weird between my dream and waking up. I can feel my quilt on me and pressure. I cannot move, talk, or open my eyes. I try lifting my arm i cant move, I try screaming all that escapes my mouth is a rasp. I continue to fight to open my eyes and cant. finally I lift my arm and hit my boyfriend to have him wake me up but my arm falls only tapping him. This is horrible Im going to die I thought to myself. My heart felt weak my whole body felt tired but I kept fighting freeing myself at last from whatever was holding me down. That is the only way I can describe it. still unable to talk or open my eyes I rolled over and bit his ear wispering wake me up. Please wake me up. As soon as he was awake and grabbed me I was able to open my eyes, move, and talk. My heart and body felt weak for months after. I was shaky for at least a week and made him stay awake until I was asleep for god knows how long. This is true and I remember it as if it where yesterday, even though it happened about ten years ago it still freaks me out and Ive yet to get and explenation. |
