By escapedmermaid Cancer The First Time I Dreamt Of My Dead Friend (Death Dream) I was at a cool loft party with my friends, not like a rave or a drugged out college party, but a cool one with a DJ and lights. Zach, my friend who committed suicide in high school, was there, but he was a ghost. He didn't know what had happened to him, or that he was even dead, but he knew something was different and that something bad had happened. He turned to me and said: "I must've done something really bad, huh?" with a remorseful, sad smile on his face. I completely ignored this, and kissed him on the cheek and hugged him. I was so glad to see him there, ok, even if he was a ghost, that I didn't want to tell him or spoil my time with him at all by telling him sad things. I spent the entire night dancing with him and kissing his cheek, having a great, fun time. But it went downhill when people started taking photos at the party. Zach couldn't be photographed - he wouldn't show up in the pictures, like a ghost or vampire from mythology. He knew that. I don't think he knew he was dead, but he knew he couldn't be photographed. He yelled "No!" And told me this, so we had to run around and chase people down that had cameras, deleting the photos, and kicking them out or confiscating the camera. I was so nervous and scared because I didn't want the night to end, I didn't want Zach to go away and I was so scared that he would. I woke up sometime during that panic.
