The dream starts off where I am standing at the start of a rose garden. Though the roses had been plucked off and laid dead on the ground. Tiny bits of cloth had been hopelessly trying to cling onto the thorns while the wind behind me start to pick up.
I was dressed in a flowing, red, summer dress that crossed over my chest and clipped together in the back. I hadn't been wearing any shoes. In my right hand was the blue rosary that I always keep on my nightstand. I had been holding onto it so tightly that it was digging and cutting my skin.
The clouds were really gray and there was a sort of mist hovering over the rose garden. When I looked closer there was a man at the end of the valley dressed in a formal dress suit and top hat. His hand was reached out beckoning to me.
For a few moments I started hesitated but then I took off in a slow but hurried run towards the man. As I felt the thorns tear and rip at my clothes and skin little voices were trailing me down the valley.
"I hate you."
"You'll never fit in"
"You have no friends."
"You're a disgusting dog."
" You're everything I never wanted in a child."
"No one deserves to suffer spending their life with you."
"Go back to preschool, you don't belong with us."
They kept on repeating till there was a mixture of voices and I couldn't make sense of them anymore. I got to running faster where I finally reaches the end.
I fell to the dirt. My dress had been ripped to shreds, I was bleeding profusely and completely out of breath.
I looked up to the sky and it started raining and I could hear the man stepping towards me. As he was walking he was talking to me."
"You're almost 15."
"Lucky number 15."
"What do you see?"
"Can you see your life?"
"2 minutes until your 15."
He kept counting down the seconds and I was so out of breath and my vision was fogging up that I couldn't respond.
I heard a clock go off into the distance.
"Happy birthday Kayla." I heard the man say.
He stood over me and looked down and he completely changed. He was wearing a black cloak and his face and hands were just bone. He had a sythe in his hands.
I closed my eyes and my entire body went limp. The only think that I carried in my hand was the rosary and it had engraved the cross into my hand like it was burnt on it.
The guy was lowering his free hand down to grab the rosary when I had woken up and went into a Frenzied Panic.
