The Twins Who Challenged Me In A Mansion Of Doom | Death Dream Interpretations

I know when some people read this they are going to think of The Shinging. No.
I had this dream WAAAY before I even watched the Shining and its also nothing relativly like it.
Anyways, I had this dream a couple years back and to this day it still kind of bothers me. It doesnt just involve death. it involved me being chased, zombies, water, drowning, frigtening images, and climbing.
First of all before I begin for those who do wish to read and learn more about my dreams? For some reason I can fly, but cant run, I can use powers, but cant physcially fight, and I cant eat or drink or I become sick both in my dream and when I wake up like I will throw up and I am also afraid of water in my dreams. Normally I drown and feel the watery depths engulf my lungs.
So any of the above is ever mentioned in future dreams is never good news for me.
This dream has bothered me to this day. I only remember the main parts of it, but I will tell you what I can.
It starts out I am walking alone in a dark mansion with dark purple wallpaper and dimly lit candles. As I near a door I open it and enter a circular room full of mirrors. In the center of the pillow covered floor is two figures. The first is a guy I'll never forget.
He was tall, thin, pale, very fashionably dressed like an 18th century nobleman in all purples and blues, long white hair which curled at the end and red eyes.
He seemed nice and charming but his presence gave me that feeling of darkness.
I never figured out this guys name even though he is on of the twins who talks to me.
I remember him saying something like I should give in, I should do something, the voices and conversations in my dreams are never particularly clear.
However, after trying to pursue me and I didnt seem interested bc I didnt feel comfortable around him, he turned the other figure around to face me in the room.
I screamed and backed away at the sight of a young girl who looks similar to me, but it wasnt me, with her eyes and lips sewn shut. The guy leaned his head against hers and laughed as I burst out of the room and ran through the now stretching corridors. The walls shattered and echoes and moans were heard and as I tried to reach for a door out, I fell into a ditch I wish I never saw.
A ditch filled with skeletons and dead bodies of young children.
I heard a different male voice and looked up and it was another guy who looked similar to the 1st I met only his outfit was red and his hair was straight.
He lifted his hands, summoning the corpses to do his bidding. The undead zombie kids slowly walked my way and I clawed myself raw to the top back onto the floor level where they couldnt get me.
I entered another room where there appeared to be a pool, I knew that was bad news so I frantically looked for another door, but I heard large hoofs headed my way I turn and see a large boar-like monster with long twisted horns running my way.
I ran to the nearest door up the steps and when I ran in, a dark lonely room and as you look down, and endless twisting staircase leading to the abyss.
Did I want to get murdered by the boar or jump through the staircase into nowhere?
I dove in and as I fell I landed in a lonely swamplike lake; green and mucky like a bayou. I couldnt swim to the surface when I landed and couldnt hold my breath anymore. I breathed in the water and expected to die, maybe even wake up.
Instead I turned into a dark, mangy looking mermaid creature with seaweed like hair and an eel like appearance. I swan through the green disgusting swamp until I reached for land. I hopped out and turned back into myself but it was sheer pain.
For a while I tried to wake myself up.
My usual ways are closing my eyes tight and gathering up some kind of energy, or screaming to the point where my subconcious cant contain it so Im forced to sit up in bed. I know that sounds crazy but it works.
Unfortunatly for some reason I couldnt do either. I hadnt the ability to scream but I could talk and think, and I couldnt gather up all the energy.
I left through the next door only to enter back into the pool area again. I entered in what loojed like an office or lounge or something and those two guys were there again. The one in red introduced himself as Cortez. He was the silent type while his twin, whom I cant name, boasted and talked too much.
I told them to let me out of the dream. They wanted to have more fun with me and tried to kill me, to sew my eyes and mouth shut forever.
At this point I remember escaping by finally reaching out to a doorknob that was constantly pulling away from me, but once I stepped into the light I was up in a flash
First off nightmares such as these symbolize things deep down within you that needs to be resolved, you have probably been running away from your own troubles for quite a while now and that is why the subconscious is bursting it out so aggressively to get this issue under your attention.
Also the man with white hair, could denote wisdom (the grey hair) and that it is straight, means you are only afraid because he cuts straight to the issue... which you might not be willing to face right now, but you need to and that is what makes it so damn terrifying...the one with the "curl" in his head may denote some crux in the story or "some twist or curl" alleviating the stress okay.
To the zombies:
Well the dream may symbolize that you can become like the zombies, and the one with the straight hair could be telling you, that if you choose to become like the zombies you would have no voice or eyes... you would give in to their lies, if you are not willing to fight for the TRUTH... maybe you know something which others don't know, and it kills you, and maybe you think that it might be better to play dumb with the rest of the people (regarding this issue) so that it might be less harsh on you if you do not do the right thing, for doing the right thing would mean that you would have to STAND OUT AND BE DIFFERENT, maybe you are afraid to DO JUST THAT.
Your fear of water denotes that you are not willing or slightly weary of facing your own emotions, maybe too afraid of what you might discover about yourself - - in the sense that you may find out that you are MORE STRONG than what you think you are, to do something and go through with it, what others think you will not be able to pull off all by yourself... Cortez is Spanish for meaning "in Triumph", THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU, if you are willing to face and overcome your own fears, if you build your confidence, and find the confidence you think you lack, but what you do deep down possess.
Also "twins" could denote a "twin aspect of your personality" - - you could be shy but you could also be courageous, you can sometimes be scared to do things, but when it comes to the push you are very STOUT HEARTED AND able to pull it off once you set your mind upon it.
The mansion could be symbolic of your own state of mind, maybe you are deliberately fooling yourself "the having fun with you part", JUST BECAUSE you don't want to see JUST HOW STRONG AND BRAVE you really are.
Eyes = you will be able to see it, and mouth= you will be able to walk the talk, if you have found your True voice filled with valour and honour.
So you jumped and become a mermaid -- it is good news for you will be able to overcome your fears by diving deep into your "problems" and resolving them... see the mermaid can swim to the bottom and FIND TREASURE bringing it to the surface (from your deep subconscious to your conscious mind to behold and know).
the candles= light = understanding brought forth from looking at yourself more clearly (the mirrors)... you can see your own weaknesses, and work to improve yourself as person, to overcome it by NOT BEING AFRAID TO LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE... if you can face the "bad aspects of your personality" they might become your BEST CHARACTER ASPECTS, if you are willing to look at what needs to be fixed...and do it.
There is another dream symbol essential to this dream: the doorknob - you said it continued to go away from you as you reached out... maybe the "door only seem to run away" because it is your own will... that you do not want to deal with the situation... THROUGH THE DOORWAY lies great understanding as you put it the light... YOU should just say no to your will TO NOT SEEK IT, and embrace a NEW WILL to indeed be courageous enough to see what lies beyond the door of your own "illusions" (mansion of a fun house)... YOU NEED TO STEP OUT OF YOURSELF, and view yourself from the outside in, taking every little thing of yourself into consideration and then make the RIGHT CHOICE after seeing yourself more clearly!
