I was escorting my friend around my hometown. Although, it wasn't really my real hometown. It was a place I had never been. It was a dark and evil place. We retired to a house that was supposed to be my childhood home (although it wasn't.) She went to sleep in a bed on the other side of "my" bedroom.
In my dream I fall asleep. I wake because my forearms are being gripped tightly...strangling the blood out of my arms. I feel this sensation of paralyzing force moving from the grip of the huge hands down my arms and up into the rest of my body. My face felt numb and even my toes were beginning to tingle. The frightful grip is pushing me down into the mattress. I can't move. I try to speak, "In the name of Jesus, demon begone from me!" But my words come out as a mere mumble of the slightest movement of my voice and my lips.
This scares me awake. I am desperately trying to speak out loud. I realize I am in my son's bedroom sleeping on his mattress...and I can't move. My forearms are burning and my body is paralyzed.
I concentrate and focus on saying again, "In the name of jesus christ, Satan begone from me by the power of His blood by the blood of jesus, begone!" It comes out a little more clearly now although I sound a bit like a deaf person talking. I am fighting and shouting it out and it still comes out much more softly than I had imagined. I am yelling and yet barely speaking.
As I am yelling out the words I sit up in the bed. I can finally catch my breath. I lay down again and immediately I feel this sensation over my hair and scalp. I feel the Lord anoint me with the blood of Jesus. I still feel it tingling on me today.
As I lay there I wonder, "How do I know this feeling? How do I know what it is?" I don't know how I know; I just know.
I lay in the bed feeling secure in the fact that whatever evil thing had been there is now gone. I want to get up to go to the restroom. I am afraid to do so. Then, I realize I have nothing to fear. If my God is for me, then who could be against me? None!
God has all ready given me freedom by my request and through the power of Jesus to banish the evil spirits away. I had no reason to fear walking to the restroom.
I went and had no fear. |
