By Kayleigh33 Mother Eating Her Hands. (Eating, Hands Dream) My dream was set in a post apocalyptic world that was caused by an unknown source. There were areas of heavier contamination, and my role in the dream is a scientist living with 9 others in a sea lab off a heavily contaminated Island. What we did in the dream isn't what I want to know about. My mother was the only other person from my real life that was in my dream, although we were not mother and daughter in the dream. She is going crazy in the dream, she cuts off the fingers of her left hand and eats them. She then cuts off her hand and eats that. She gets as far as mid arm before anybody stops her. We contain her in hopes that she will not do any more damage but she ends up just chewing off her other hand. This has really disturbed me, any ideas about a meaning?
