Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
Ill start it from almost the beginning, which is kinda vague. (little info, I can control the majority of my dreams so I may post more dreams I've had in the past that bugged me). But here's my dream:
Me and one of my older sisters go up north to my grandmas house, but it's not specifically my grandmas house, just a rendition of it. So me and my sister are watching a movie, my grandma is gone, And I fall asleep. I wake up some time later and instantly know my sister has been kidnapped. So i search around the house, inside and out, for her. Then I come across this woman Ive never seen before in real life, and I know she kidnapped my sister. So she's eventually sitting in a rocking chair in my house and she's disguising herself do when I ask "did you kidnap my sister", she will say No and expect me to believe it. But I'm controlling this whole entire confrontation and I see the dream in my point of view, or first person, and her point of view, and like Gods point of view as in I can see her face and my face simultaneously. So I walk up to her with a sharp kitchen knife in my hand and I'm thinking while dreaming how the handle should be positioned in my hand to be the most beneficial. I didn't want it to slip. I get about a foot from her and I shove the knife into her chest but purposely don't hit the bone because in real life I don't want to know what that feels like so I was using the same mindset in my dream as I would in real life. I also purposely didn't hit the heart because I didn't want to know what it felt like to Hit the heart muscle and differentiate it from flesh and other muscles. So I'm really just trying to get some advice on if being able to control my dreams to where I don't want to do a certain thing because it won't feel right on my skin or whatever. Is having one of my senses (touch) possible in a dream? And having it carry over to real life and I'll remember the feeling of it even though I've never felt it in real life before
