|  I was running down the road, a separated four lane highway, when I decided to turn off onto a small gravel road. I used the turn-off to turn around. I was acting like I was driving or something so needed the room to pull a u-turn. Still on foot, I crossed the median and waited for the traffic to allow me to run over to the opposite side of the road, since there was another little dirt road I wanted to run down.
Once the way was clear, I grabbed my blanky (yes, BLANKY, not blanket) and ran across the two remaining lanes. This road led down into the forest and a log cabin. It wasn't a little cottage-type deal, but a good sized house made from big logs. Somehow I got inside, and I remember my sister being there! (I don't HAVE a sister in reality)
I was telling a woman who lived there that my sister and I could hack into just about anything. This was even stranger because we were kids of probably 10 (me) and 8 (she). There was something going on revolving around that ability that put us in danger, and I think I was trying to convince the lady to allow us to stay and hide.
The scene shifted to just me and woman, I was probably my current age at this point. I came in from the garage and set my gun down on a little table or chair next to the door. We were talking or something, I don't remember, when I heard a noise.
It was someone banging on the door, trying to force their way in from the garage. The door knob was locked, but I hit the deadbolt right away and was looking to find the other doors and stop this person from getting in. I ran around the house locking doors, but somehow I missed the basement.
I ran down the stairs to lock that door, but I was too late. gary busey (actually I think it was a cyborg with his face) had broken the door and gotten in. I drew my gun and shot him, but nothing worked! He just kept coming.
Somehow I evaded him and managed to get back upstairs. When I did I found a fresh clip that had my better bullets in it and loaded it. There were more people trying to get into the house by then, and when I shot them they fell as one would expect. I had to protect the woman that had hidden us and helped us!
Well the Busey-cyborg managed to get upstairs through the basement door, I guess braking the frame. When he did I shot him again, but it only knocked him back. (I keep 45acp hollow points with a small post in the cavity that make LARGE holes in my gun) It was enough of a distraction for me to use a skipping kick to knock him down the stairs. At the bottom he fell on a stake or wood slat or something that impaled him through his chest.
It was even freakier because I knew he was still alive, but that he'd never even move again unless the stake was removed (like a vampire, or Sylar from Heroes). |
