|  This dream spans a couple of dreams I had throughout the night, but they seemed to all bump into each other. I was fishing with someone, but I don't remember who. I think it might've been Ken from my old job, but I'm not sure, it's hazy. It was on the northeast shore of Wood lake where the boat launch would be in real life. I remember previously having been in some kind of prison complex, like a camp but the doors were locked at night and I had like 4 room mates. My family was there too, housed elsewhere, I remember specifically grandma and brother M there, which is odd for me since I rarely dream about people I know. These trains kept going past behind us, a lot of really small trains going in different directions, and there were like 3 different train tracks. I remember commenting on how quiet trains these days are, and how efficient they must be these days. I also remember looking at the tracks closest to me, and noticing they had an impossible drop of like 6 inches that would derail a real life train, but I didn't think anything of it.
I cast out my line and I ended up pulling in this weird bundle of plastic and metal. The first piece of metal was like a soup can's removed top, except it was impossibly warped into an oval somehow, and the look of it disturbed me, as if some sort of dimensional twist had happened here to deform it. Then I dumped this plastic container out (it was full of lake water) and saw 3 or 4 pieces of thin metal that bore some marks of currency, and appeared to be the result of coins being run over by a train. I remember specifically seeing a nickel and a penny.
Then I remember it was time to go, I was supposed to meet my family at the complex and we were going home. There was some sort of locker there that I cleaned out, and ended up stealing these crazy sunglasses that I remembered had been there for a long time.
Also I just remembered an earlier dream of that sleep, where I was out in a boat on Wood lake with brother M and Grandma, and I think Grandma hooked something and it ended up pulling her and my brother out of the boat. Somehow I caught the line and the rod, and this crazy fish was pulling me and the whole boat away from them, like a motorboat pulls a waterskier. It pulled me to the shore where a river was flowing out of the lake, but the boat got caught on something, and I managed to pull this fish in. It was some kind of disgusting fish too, and huge. It had decay all around it's mouth, and these weird nasty looking feelers poking out through the rot. When I threw it into the boat, I could see that it's tail was not there, and it broke apart in half as it hit the floor of the boat. Also it shrank down to 10% of it's previous size. I don't know why I wanted to keep it. The dream ended as I started back to get those who'd fallen from the boat. |
