Running Away (Former Lover Dream)

Before I tell the dream , I need to explain that the guy in this dream, my ex boyfriend, only broke up with me a couple days ago, and he really meant a lot to me. Anyways, on with the dream!

In the dream, I was watching a video on youtube. On this video, I saw my ex boyfriend about to go on a trip with his family, and apparently he had quite a few younger siblings. He was trying to help them all into a van to get them all ready to leave. On top of a van, there was a small sunroof, and I saw a girl escaping through it and I was wondering, "Why isn't he going after her? Why is he just letting her get away so easily? Doesn't she matter to him?"

But I couldn't do anythig about it, because I was only watching. Help?
