|  I was in a house with my family and we where eating, it seemed to be a holiday or reunion of some kind. It was dark though, almost... Smokey or foggy. Many shades of gray. Everyone looked more animated than usual, expressions seemed over-exaggerated as I watched, feeling as if I was on the outside looking in, in my mind.
I left the table, floating as I do in nearly all of my dreams, like a ghost. I went outside on the patio and my cats where there. My eldest kitty saw something I didn't and started chasing it, looking at the wall and in corners. I felt cold suddenly and held my self, wrapped in my shall. I could see my breath escape my lips I was so chilled. Everything glowed now, kind of, like the moon on a foggy night, with shades of blue everywhere.
The feeling of impending doom came over me and I started seeing shadows flying around swiftly. There was a pile of clothing on a chair and it seemed wrong. I went to the clothes and was going to pick them up when a black button up shirt went completely flat a rigid and stood up lighting fast and hovered in front of me. I stepped back feeling my skin crawl with goosebumps and my hair on end. I felt petrified, almost as stiff as that shirt as it slowly floated closer to be still rigid like cardboard. It was flat though, like nothing was inside of it.
Lightning speed again it went for me, the sleeve reaching out, something grabbed my neck and took me to the ground. My cats hissing looking at the shirt, I grabbed it and wrestled with it still feeling choked. Finally I could see what was in it as the shirt went limp and the real being came to sight. I had it by the neck now and it looked demonic, black eyes, gray withered decayed skin, just a floating head with bones for hands and the rest of the body was like a gray shadow trailing off. I started hissing like a cat, violently at it.
I awoke from the dream still hissing, snapped out of it and looked up only to see a transparent face and that same odd floating mist of a body hovering over me. I felt tears just fall down both sides of my face. I closed my eyes and said "Please leave me alone!" I threw the blanket over my head and collected my self, and it was gone. What I saw was very vivid, and with the adrenaline coursing through my veins I was wide awake. So... I do not know what to make of it. Was it real, or was it just the remainder of the dream haunting me as I awoke.. I will likely never know. |
