Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
In this dream , I was a giant. My parents were worried about me attracting unwanted attention, so I laid in a feild, pretending to be a giant doll, and woke up to two Native Americans laying in front face staring at me. Their chief wanted to marry me, apparently. This frightened me, so i pretended to go back to sleep, and in my 'sleep' i must have had a bad dream, because i woke up with a jolt, and scared two of my male friends who were doing the same as the two Native Americans, i startled them, but told them how scared i was. The next part I remember, I was normal human size, and we were in our camper talking with the chief, I told him that I didn't want to marry him and that made him angry, so I left the room, and a few minutes later I looked out the window and saw his army stretching in the field as if they were getting ready for a battle.
After that, my mother and I were walking my Grandmother to a nearby park, we were all holding hands, and my mother was walking at an unusually high pace. We finally stopped at a bench, and I asked my mother if we could leave right away instead of making sure everything was packed and ready to go, because I was worried about being attacked.
While I was asking her this, I was watching my father as he started to get out of our truck and walk around outside, after he was about 30 feet away, the army of Native Americans charged at our truck and trailer, and my Dad saw and said "Hey!" and ran towards them, my Dad has bad knees, so when he walks he has this sort of hobble, because he is always in pain, and in the dream it was so distinct when he was running over, so I starting getting even more worried, and ran to him hoping to save him, and that is when I woke up, so the last image I had in my mind was my Dad covered in mud being attacked by a group of warriors, and the look on his face made my stomach turn, he was only trying to protect his family! And I felt that the whole thing was my fault.
