|  This is a story about a dream that I had about a two years ago. I have prayed about it and tried to get a sense on what it means, but I haven't gotten anything. I was wondering if anyone could help me and try to explain it to me.
"The smell of the garden was overwhelming. Such a sweet scent, it was something that could only be smelled in a dream but this was reality. I walked through the harden with my friend though I don't recall his name. We passed flowers, trees, and different plants each having their own unique sense of smell. As we walked deeper into the garden I noticed a spotlight roaming the garden, stopping in certain places. I couldn't see what it was doing but either it stopped for a minute or two or just a second, hovering over a certain spot. I was terrified of this light but my friend didn't seem to mind it. At one point the light came very close to me and I hid, afraid of being seen or hurt. The next day as we were walking through the garden, I spotted the light once more. Thinking it wouldn't come close to us again, I didn't take heed to the fact that every time we walked away, the light kept getting closes. We stopped to rest in a nice spot in the garden. There were bushes and trees surrounding us, and up about the trees made a arch and sunlight was gleaming through. It was a beautiful sight, something that my eyes will never forget. All of the sudden, there was a bright flash that surrounded my whole body. I was trapped inside this funnel of light. All of the sudden I felt my body lift up into the air. But when I looked down I saw my actual body laying there, I tried to yell out to it but it didn't move. My friend was staring at me as I glided into the air, I yelled to him too but he couldn't hear me. I was crying hoping he could hear me but I just glided further and further up. As I was going up, I had a feeling of complete and utter peacefulness. It was something I have not felt in my entire life. It finally daubed on me. I was saved. My Lord and my god had brought me up into His kingdom. i closed my eyes and let Him take me up."
After I had this dream, I was fixated on knowing what it meant and why I had this wonderful experience. I started reading the bible, just to learn more about God and I came across a passage in the book of Matthew. The chapter and verse is Matthew 24, verse 40 and it reads "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left". When I read this, I automatically thought about my dream and what it might mean. I would just appreciate some thoughts and feedback on what someone might think it means. |
