InsightI dreamed I was on this gigantic, wide-open course, miles and miles long with seemingly no borders. Trees, forests, open fields, rockiness, rivers, dirt, open sky, mostly daytime, no snow, temperate temperatures. I was being pursued and fleeing for my very life, primarily from a gigantic metallic robotic spider-type entity. This was not a game, nor practice; I was taking it very seriously and I was on top of my game. This went on for some time. It would catch up and I would hide and escape further and it would come after me again. If only I could make it to the end of the course and lose the threat.
(Misinterpret Pursuit Dream)
Then either the end of the course came or something else happened to halt the entity's pursuit of me. Perhaps it was that it had finally caught me, restrained me, trapped me. There was a sudden insight or realization which passed through me, and I understood the nature of all of this. Then there were two people speaking, or someone speaking to the entity.
I came to understand that I had been mistaken: this frightening gigantic metallic spider-like predator was not an indiscriminating threat to my life. I had been consumed with fear needlessly, because I was in no real danger of being harmed. I was not being attacked nor threatened.
This was all an intentional situation, intended by something or someone higher -- such as a director of an academy perhaps, or my master (who rightfully presides over my personal growth), or something/one similar power I am rightfully a subject of. This was all part of making me stronger in many different ways. More competent, faster, confident, agile, focussed, higher level of endurance, for example.
I had misinterpreted the situation, rather significantly. I was in that situation because something/someone higher, as I aforementioned, valued me enough to challenge me and train me to grow as a person - not because something/someone was ruthlessly pursuing me as a predator pursues prey for its own sake at the expense of the prey, the object, the tool.
