I knew I was going to die. I knew who was going to kill me. I knew how he was going to do it.I think he let me say goodbye and then we went on with it. I told them "I love you. Goodbye." They said it was silly, I was just going on a ride.
That's where it took place, a haunted house ride. It had multiple trains like the ones on roller coasters. My friends were on the ones next to me.There was a big concrete platform between us, with two full train cars on one side then mine on the other. In mine, was me and the killer.
Before we got on, my friend asked me "are you scared?" I said no. It was planned so that they were put on different trains than me.I got on with a straight face while they were all giggling with excitement. My goodbye was displayed on the screen above "I love you. Goodbye." They laughed at it. It's part of the ride called "Your last words." It was, after all, just a ride. My train left first, that's when I realized there was someone else from my school on my train. I don't know why, I didn't ask questions. I watched as the silly "haunted" house characters went by, popping out from walls and ceilings. clowns, ghosts, skeletons, snakes, flashing lights, and ominous laughter. Then the train took a detour into a tunnel and came out in a big bright concrete walled area that looked like part of the ride that was just under construction. As we continued, the killer asked me to act scared, scream, try to get away. I simply nodded, no worry. I could see where the track ended, where we were headed. A man in a purple haunted house t-shirt and khaki pants sat there with a grim smile on his face. When we got close to the end, he pressed a button and the train jolted to a stop. I stepped out and caught a glimpse of my classmate, who sat still and confused. I took a step and was shoved to the ground. I started my act. I screamed, shouted, tried to drag myself along the ground like I was trying my hardest to get away. I probably moved about an inch in my "struggle." I stopped when I saw two people walking about one hundred yards away. One was a white-haired woman in a similar purple haunted house t-shirt, the other was a dark haired boy who looked about fourteen. Their heads turned in my direction as they were walking. Then I heard the killer walk up, he stood over me and I heard him say somewhat quietly "Don't. Move." That's when I felt the knife, as it poked my back. The killer did it slowly, and painfully pushing it in. I saw the two people again, they watched but kept walking, doing nothing. I had that moment, where my life "flashed before my eyes." I thought about my family, the friends I had just left behind, my classmate still sitting in the train, the killer's helper who sat waiting to see me die. I felt the horrible pain of the knife as my head pushed against the concrete ground. Then slowly, I watched the world disappear. Into darkness.
