End Of The World | Nuclear War Dream Interpretations
Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
I had this dream for the first time when I was about 15 or 16. It is a dream I have nearly every single night. I always wake up screaming or with a yelp, and have a bloody nose. This happens all the time, I would love to hear some opinions upon what it means. My dream is very vivid, all the senses are active and I am now starting to gain some control over myself in the dream, changing some things like trying to save people and warning people what is coming but it always ends the same.
It starts with myself and a group of friends going on a weekend trip to the mountains. We were offered a cabin by someone we know (never do figure out who it is that owns the cabin). We get unpacked and decide to go.......I wanna call it paragliding, but it's not a parachute we are using it is some sort of glider shaped like a boomarang.......anyway, I can feel, see, hear, touch and taste everything. I think that we are in the united states but am not 100% sure about it. We just enjoy the trip and the local cuisine and culture. Towards the middle of the dream is when it gets really weird. I am sitting outside the cabin on a patio that is seperated from the house, drinking tea and talking with a friend. All of a sudden we are talking but can't hear what we are saying, there are no sounds at all, no birds, nothing.......we look at each other really confused and look around, and we start to get a little scared when all of a sudden there is a rushing wind kind of sound and we hear everything that we just said, coming back to us, and our mouths are not moving. We are on the top of a mountain and looking out over a large city when this happens.....we turn to the city (to my right) and see a huge flash of light, then I see the mushroom cloud. I used to wake up at this point, but now the dream seems to never want to end. Now I can feel the heat of the blast and the shockwave from it. I survive the initial blast and thinking nothing of the radiation or the fallout head towards the city to help as many as I can.....There is a lot of damage but there are some survivors. People that were in the sub basements and such. There is nothing left, a few beams from the buildings stand still but ultimately there is nothing left. I get as many survivors as I can back to the cabin and that night we see more and more mushroom clouds........they were nuclear bombs being dropped on all the surrounding cities.
Every single time I wake up from this dream I am sweaty, bloody nose, heart racing and I am usually screaming.
I have been having this dream on a regular basis since I was around 15 to 16 years of age, I wish it would stop.
