Maybe you feel as if though you are somewhat stuck in the same situation with someone else...and you both want out; maybe feeling the only way to get rid of each other and out of each other's sight is by stabbing each other in the back... Maybe you feel when the other party (could be someone in real life you feel this about or a battle with yourself) attempts to stab you in the back you would want to get even... Or if you have done something you regret and batter yourself up over it; hating yourself for what you have done maybe something stupid knowing it was wrong... The "getting back at yourself" beating yourself up over it; punishing yourself for "stabbing yourself in the back" betraying yourself by making stupid decisions you know you shouldn't have.

Could be a sign that you should make peace with yourself or the other person in your life making you feel this way; just taking on the attitude of "S_h_i_t happens; deal with it; that's life" and just know it is part of Life and the lessons you must learn... Rather seek to learn something from the other person or the situation than hating on the other person or yourself; because carrying feelings of hate will get you nowhere it would only drag you down... Revenge always adds fuel to the fire - so the more you seek to get rid of the thing or person that caused the problem the lesser chances you have upon solving the problem; or getting questions answered as to "why did this happen; why is it happening to me?"... The longer you are mad the longer you stay in some "mental prison" feeding the negative energies... Probably a message to be grateful for the Universe and the people it sends our way for the spiritual lessons we must learn to further our spiritual growth... Since they are too Children of the Universe; hating them would be like hating on a "brother or sister" you know what I am saying?

You should set your mind free and treat the person as the messengers they are...be thankful for them coming to teach you...hate will only blind you to the lessons they came to give.

I don't know; maybe "open your heart" and trust in the Universe to guide you and protect you while it bestows its rich lessons... Or just come what may this is part of the learning process.

This was a scary dream indeed. The thought of going to prison can make a man made of stone shudder. I wonder if the prison and prisoners in your dream, with the exception of your close friend that is walking with you, could represent your social outlook in general. You could have a deep seated mistrust of people, except a chosen very few, and if anyone tries to hurt you or one you love, you will "stab them in the heart" if you have to. based on the information you gave here, I can't be sure what your Inner Guidance is trying to tell you, other than to take a closer look at your attitude towards others in general. PS: stabbing someone in the heart after they back stab you; is like trying to hurt them where they'd hurt the most... It is not always wise to go down this route; since you'll only create yourself more trouble... Was the guy coming after you? Only when it is necessary Life and Death situation type of thing; can you defend yourself as such... But there's no need to do this when there is another way; a better way that would cause the least damage. Some fights are not worth fighting; nor worth your energy or time... Learning to distinguish between real threats and false threats... Some people are easy to deal with requiring less input and a more wise rebuff in the form of avoiding rejection... To ignore is sometimes the best than to get your hands all filthy... If they just seek to cause trouble; don't fall for their temptation; take it smooth... Just say "I'm not in the mood for trouble; go seek it elsewhere; leave me alone!"...
