Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
I started off in a room full of kids, it was a bright red color. This man in a lab coat walks into the room and starts talking to some kids. Then a tv in the room lights up and a woman, a weatherman I think, starts saying how there is a tornado heading towards us. She doesn't say where we are, but we know its coming for us. So the man starts herding kids outside, and leading them into this yellow barn-like thing. Then we realize there isn't room for three kids, so he tells me to take them into this tunnel that is underneath the original building we were in. I take them there. There are two girls, a little blond one and a dark haired one, and a little boy. The girls are scared because it's the first tornado they've experienced in this building, but I'm okay because I've been through lots of them. I wrap them in my arms, comforting them. Then I tell them to get into the tunnel. The little boy is already in it. I crawl in beside him and the girls go on my other side. There is a railing we hold onto as we curl into little balls because the tunnel is small. Then the man wriggles in and tells us it's going to be okay. There is an opening, where we got in, and we can see the tornado through it. We are getting more and more scared, and we start praying and screaming, hoping for us to be okay. The girls are crying, the tears streaming down their faces. I was getting more and more freaked out and then I turn to look at the boy and his face has no emotion at all. Then the tornado hits us, and the tunnel/tube-thing starts spinning around, and we get thrown about. I scream in the dream, then my back starts to hurt in real life. (It gets so painful that I wake up. Every single time. I've had this dream numerous times since I was eight. It scares me so much because in the dream I'm getting thrown so roughly that I would be lucky to escape with just a broken bone and then my back starts to actually hurt so bad. Creepy right?)
