By Mythriel Virgo Being A Rebel... (Persecution Dream) This dream felt like a couple days, at least, and that I had been doing it a long time. It's also a futuristic sci-fi setting. The guy I love from work is in it, and I only sort of got to kiss him... He appears in my dream just as in real life, except for the secret agent parts. ;) -- I was the "mentally challenged" girl on the street, begging. Most of my kind were, gathering various gossip and intel passed by other rebels. I'm smart in my own way, and occasionally stole away to eat a more substantial meal. It was there that I usually saw him. He is tall and well built with broad shoulders, a vitality that cannot be ignored and a spirit that brightens others when we are not on the streets... When he is, he'll pass a smile, but a darker personality overall. He passed by me on a rainy day, tossing me a few coins from a deep pocket in his overcoat; dropping a paper bag that smelled of ham in my lap, he winked at me. He would sometimes pass out things to the local homeless, huddled beneath neon signs or on park benches... But I feel quite sure I'm the only one he winks at. I opened the bag to find a crumpled note asking me to meet him outside the city limits above the coastline that night... I hoped it wasn't business, for once. I ran once I saw him, waiting outside of a shed-like country house. He told me that he'd asked that I be taken off the street, as I had nearly been raped the previous day; he wished for me to do something more akin to a desk job, as he almost didn't yank the man away from me in time that dreadful night. I said that I would rather get to be with him all the time, and he took me in his arms... The feeling was heavenly, I'd never felt so comfortable and safe. He lifted my chin and tried to kiss me, (he confessed it to be his first kiss as well), but we ended up being nervous about it and I suggested we start out with a hug, and settled my head into his chest.
