I went to the hospital for extreme abdominal pain and was told I was pregnant with twins. My boyfriend was there (and oddly enough, my ex as well) sitting in the waiting room. Distraught, because I'm only 21, I demanded to go smoke a cigarette before being taken to the delivery room. The pain was suddenly gone, and I was outside smoking a cigarette with my boyfriend (I was smoking, not him.. he's not a smoker). I came back inside, and saw my Grandmother. I went up to her and started crying, she hugged me and I asked her if she knew - she said she did, and that I was having triplets. I told her she was wrong, it was twins, and then she pointed to a computer screen that was playing a 4D sonogram of my stomach. I vividly saw one of my babies. The doctor then came and asked me to make my way upstairs for the delivery. I was shocked, because looking down at my stomach - there was no evidence of pregnancy. I headed up to labor/delivery and somehow was in a private apartment-like room. I looked down and saw blood coming from me - which led me to believe I was going into labor. Then I felt a head coming out, which I grabbed (and I remember how it felt - even the soft spot). My boyfriend and my ex boyfriend were in the waiting room and the nurses tried to rush me through the emergency doors - my boyfriend didnt initially follow & I remember having to yell across the waiting room for him to do so. The nurses finally had me on the table, and told me the first baby (a girl) had died because I had "essentially murdered her" by not making it upstairs in time and that her head was out for too long. Then they pulled out a clear ball-sac that had a very small embryo inside (nothing close to the size of the head I had felt). They told me my other two were fine, and that I was 4 months pregnant. My boyfriend was to the side of me, and he just rested his head on my arm and said "I'm so sorry..its going to be okay". Then I woke up
What the hell was that about?!
I have been having baby fever recently, and my boyfriend and I are in the "engagement" talk mode - maybe that triggered it?
