By terpsichoreankat Cancer Days Of Future Past (Prior Life Dream) Well I dreamed I saw the Knights in Armor coming Saying something about a Queen There were peasants singing, and drummers drumming And the archer split the tree There was a fanfare a'blowing .... Well this dream I can blame Simon and Garfinkel for. A song called The Boxer has a bassoon that triggers the dream. I listen to music while I fall asleep. If the Boxer is played before I fall asleep it triggers a memory. There is a beautiful glade and old growth forests. On a pinnacle stands a group of horses with Knights upon them. Their banners of red, white, blue, green, gold, and black, floating on the breeze. The company was heavily loaded with spears, long n deadly. Their shields were of wood, decorated with their coat of arms. There stands alone a single Knight, with his longsword impaled into mother Earth is praying, tears running down his face. His face is well made with high cheekbones, a mouth that always has the curve a humor. The hair is Ravens Wing black iridescent black, with piercing blue eyes. His long coat reaches his knees, midnight blue with gold n silver spangles. His horse's tack is similar, the animal black as the night, strong but elegant as Percheron's always are. As our eyes met a flash of information passed between us. Once that occurred he pulled his sword, wiped it on the grass, to preserve it. His face was was deeply tanned, and as I watched a second face superimposed upon his features to that of a man I knew. Once the recognition registered, his face returned to that of the crying Knight's. He smiled at me, then said: "until another life, my love." and then faded away, with my tears waiting. Out of the sky a voice whispered " remember." From then on when ever I listened to The Boxer this dream would surface.
