By fromthisdayforwar d Mother In Law Rejects Me (Rejection Dream) I was walking down a long hallway of a building that seemed to be a very long skinny rectangle. It had doors on each side with the small window panes in the top half of each door. The lights in the rooms were darkened. The hallway was dimly lit. It appears to be bedtime for all who may sleep here. I continue to walk looking for a door I may enter. All the doors are closed. I finally step up to the last door on the left of the hallway. At the end of the hall is a great double door which opens to the outside. A warm light exudes from the window panes of the last door. The light drips on the floor in little puddles. I step into the puddles and peer into the room. On the far side of the room I see my mother in law and another woman at a large high table. It appears there they cut fabric and sew beautiful suits. They wear a self created suit. Both of their suits are similar yet slightly different as if they came from the same line. They have made "matching" outfits! This must be a close friend of my mother in law. My mother in law glances up and sees me. Her face is shocked. She turns and nervously exits the room with her friend in tow. She and her friend go out the great double doors ignoring me and leaving me silently inside the hallway. I see my mother in law light up a cigarette and cross her arms while her friend lifts her arm and encircles my mother in law's shoulders. Their heads are close together as they carry a tense conversation. My mother in law is clearly uneasy and disturbed that I have caught her. I caught her engaging in my favorite activity and she had not the decency to invite me to join her. Rather, she chose another companion to accompany her as she designed and sewed such beautiful garments I stood in the hallway silently as tears poured down my cheeks. I woke up crying.
