I am the bride but I have a different name. It is the wedding day. I have known the groom for three days but I am blissfully happy. He is everything my heart desires. Loving, kind, exciting.. I am filled with a glowing happiness that has lingered with me even now that I am awake. I meet his family for the first time at the wedding. They are welcoming and kind. Everyone is tearful and happy. The only people I recognize are my mom and dad and my best friend but they are distant characters. The ceremony is over and my new husband and I have eyes for only each other. I feel so loved. I see it in his eyes. All of the sudden he grabs my hand and tells the wedding guests that we will be right back. He tell me he has a friend that lives close by that he wants to invite to the wedding to meet his sister. He pulls me laughing through an apartment building. It is a grand adventure! We run through different apartments laughing and narrowly escaping detection by those living in them. We jump out windows and climb on ledges and it is such fun! My sides hurt from running and laughing! We never do find his friend but we return to the wedding. Everyone is laughing at the crazy kids who are so in love. The we take pictures. There is a giant swing. We decide to get the entire wedding party on the swing to take pictures. My groom and I are the last to climb on. Once we are all on those on the ground operate ropes and pulleys to make us swing. We fly out and out and out over a lake.. It is thrilling!! We are flying! I expect every second to slow and start the decent back down over the ground but we just keep flying farther and farther. My thrill turns to dread. I realize that the people on the ground have let go of the ropes and we are in a free fall. Ahead the lake ends In an copse of trees. My groom is smarter than me and jumps in the water to avoid hitting the trees. He screams for me to do the same, reaching his hand up to me as he falls. I am not that smart. Still I survive. It is chaos. I am searching for my groom and my best friend. They are the only ones I know but around me is screaming and pain and fear. Then I wake up.
