|  I don't remember every little detail of the dream , sadly, but this is what I do:
I find out that I am to be married, to a person neither I nor my parents even know. I don't really know what's going on, but somehow I'm suddenly in a wedding dress , and I still don't know to whom I am betrothed. My parents become angry when I don't do exactly what I'm supposed to be doing (though even now I have no idea what that was. The wedding was nothing like real life. We were outside, me alone in the center of the crowd of guests, and then I was married, before I had even met my husband). I do meet him, after that, but only vaguely. I find myself in the care of a little baby girl who isn't mine or his, but is somehow ours. He knows her? I remember wondering about what his connection to our daughter was. She grows so fast. From one moment to the next, she's a newborn who can't do much, to an infant big enough to roll to the edge of the bed and I barely have enough to catch her (though I do, and she's fine). Somehow, after this point I see our wedding cake, which is a big, pink, rectangle signed by the bands A Pink and 2AM.
I actually think my husband was supposed to be a celebrity? But I don't know who he is. It's just a feeling I get, and the fact that he doesn't react much when I tell him about the cake.
He doesn't seem very comfortable with the idea that I'm raising the girl, but he doesn't say anything outright. This strengthens my belief that she had meant something more to him before she had come to me.
I let her to the care of hongki from F.T. Island, I believe? (Another thing that strengthens my belief that he's a celebrity, he seems to be friends with several (though the man who may possibly be HongKi is the only one who I still remember now). To do what, I don't know. There was water, like that of an amusement park, near where she was being cared for, but it was somehow both in the fore- and background. It didn't have any real purpose to the scene other than what it my symbolize internally.
I awoke not much longer, confused by what it meant that I had had an arranged marriage, and adopted a baby girl all in the same dream. And not a small feeling of emptiness not having my child anymore, though I'm not necessarily old enough for marriage or children by American standards (not that it's looked down upon, so much as that it's not the ideal). |
