In my dream I was sitting in the back seat of the car with my boyfriend of two years. His father was driving. We were all talking and then my boyfriends father says "Why don't you give her, her present now son?" I look at my boyfriend and he gives me a ring. It was NOT an engagement ring I know. I'm not sure if it was a promise ring or if it was just a present. It didn't have any jewels on it, it was just some sort of metal and it was blue and it was some abstract shape. I loved it and was very happy. After that his father asks him "So where do you all plan on getting married?" We are both almost 18 in the dream. My boyfriend is about to answer, when we get to our destination, church. (I do not go to church but he does and in this dream i was going with him) we all get out of the car and his mother is suddenly there she and my boyfriends father start to walk into church and leave my boyfriend and I to just do whatever before church starts, and as they're walking away his father warns us no kissing in church. Then i wake up.
Now the reason i'm wondering about this dream is that we just took a break for about a month. It was one of those silly things where we both are just like, that was stupid and pointless. My boyfriend and I love each other very much but we do have a lot of fights and my friends all think he doesn't treat me well enough. Well i have talked to him about it and we have had a long discussion about things that have to change in our relationship, one of the major problems in our relationship is him flirting with other girls. So i was wondering if this dream symbolizes him changing and committing himself to me?
i think am not sure, you think when his father asked where you guys planned on getting married and neither of you answered, but you were at a church, and his father said no kissing in church, but when you get married in a church you do kiss in a church....i think this dream is the total opposite, thats just my opinion. I think his parents symbolize people around you guys pressuring him to commit to you when clearly it sounds lik hes the type that likes to flirt with other wemon and does not want to commit. but this is just me...
