Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
Someone that i have had a huge "crush" on for a very long time ended up finally talking to me and asking me out. I happily agreed and we exchanged information. But, afterwards, we were just hanging out by his car (which i feel like was an army green color and maybe a big van, but i can't quite remember exactly). It seemed as though we just jumped right into being in some sort of a relationship; there was definitely sudden companionship between us. Suddenly a random collection of people came to say hi to me, they were all from the high school i graduated from, some people i hadn't seen or thought of in years, someone i used to be very close to, a few random acquaintances, generally a bunch of people who ultimately aren't significant in my life. I said hello to all of them, and my crush-turned-boyfriend (?) was kind of rude to them. They ended up leaving and i stayed with him. I chose him over those people, like there was a decision to be made. I kind of gave him a hard time for being so rude, but i don't remember much of that. Afterwards this other guy that i went to high school with as well (but was never really acquainted with) knew my crush-boyfriend and they said hello and blah blah... All of a sudden he (mr. boyfriend-crush) mentions something about me setting the parrots free (or opening the parrots' cages, i can't remember exactly what for), so then we're at some recreational center and we go into this room. There were lots of parrots, reptiles, and snakes there, all in glass cages. I remember trying to open a parrot's cage, but i did something wrong because it became stuck. I don't really remember what happened with that, other than we were supposed to get some other tool to open it up. Then he lets a huge snake go and wants me to kill it. I am terrified, start to scream, and run into the bathroom. I stand atop the toilet seat and am really scared. I finally leave the bathroom and see that he has killed the snake (i feel like he stabbed it with something wooden, but i can't quite remember), and a cut vaguely looking like a W, i can't explain it, but there were two linear cuts leaning into one another with two smaller cuts in between. Maybe more like an M. Maybe i'm imagining the shape. Anyway, then i woke up."
